Coach Liggett’s Philosophy
Throughout my teaching and coaching career I learned that the path to positively impacting young people boils down to two things. First, connecting with your players as people matters. Connection, care, and trust are the foundation of strong player/coach bonds. Secondly, pushing those players forward so their skill, grit, and intelligence can be harnessed toward great success.
These are the things we stand for at Legit BVC. We are going to work hard, teach details, push ourselves to be disciplined and fundamentally sound. Through it all, we stand behind our players as people making sure they are benefiting from the trials and rigors that sport provides. These challenges are going to build our character, strengthen our friendships, and prepare our players for everything that comes their way both in sport and in life.
